PENANG INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL (PIDBF) WATER SAFETY AWARENESS WORKSHOP Date: 7th March 2010 Venue: Holiday Inn Resort and Teluk Bahang Dam In conjunction with the 1st Club Crew Championship for Commonwealth Countries (2010 CCCCC) which would be held on 22th July to 25th July 2010, PIDBF is organising a Water Safety Awareness Workshop on 7th March 2010. The workshop is open to everyone, especially dragon boat crews. We will be sharing on the water safety aspects of dragon boating. The workshop will be split into two (2) modules ie. Module 1 – Theory & Module 2 – Practical. All crews are encouraged to participate in this workshop, which will be conducted in the comfort of a conference room as well as hands-on practice on the water. Participants that have completed the two (2) modules will be awarded with a certificate. Meals and transfer to and from Holiday Inn Resort to the Teluk Bahang Dam; will be provided.
